From The Invisible Book of Invisibility to The Monster Book of Monsters, Flourish and Blotts has any textbook a Hogwarts student might need! This Diagon Alley shop is also where famous wizarding authors, such as Gilderoy Lockheart, launch their books and sign copies.

King's Cross Station
Found in the heart of London, this train station is usually frequented by Muggles. Every September the 1st, however, the place fills with young people pushing carts filled with trunks and strange luggage. This is where the passage to Platform 9 ¾ can be found and where the students board the Hogwarts Express.

Colds, broken bones, missing bones, potion mishaps, and Petrification - these are but a fraction of ailments that Poppy Pomfrey treats at Hogwarts’ Hospital Wing. No matter how banal or serious their condition is, students are sure to be taken and cured here.

Second-Floor Girl’s Lavatory
This girl’s lavatory is not frequented often and makes for a much quieter restroom than one would expect at a school. The reason is Myrtle Warren, or Moaning Myrtle as she is known around the school - a ghost who haunts the bathroom and bothers everyone around her with ceaseless moaning. The quietness makes this place a great one for forbidden activities, such as brewing restricted potions.

Slytherin Common Room
The tall windows allow for a little light into the dungeon-like Slytherin Common Room, for it is found underneath the Black Lake. The giant fireplace holds no roaring fire and the green and silver banners make for a cold, secluded, and secure atmosphere, like the burrow of a snake.

Chamber of Secrets
Salazar Slytherin built this secret chamber and intended to use it to purge Hogwarts from those pupils he deemed unworthy of learning magic. This place can be accessed through a hidden passage in the second-floor girl’s lavatory and contains a great monster that the true Heir of Slytherin can call upon to continue Slytherin’s Dark Legacy.
