This great manor overlooks Little Hangleton from a hill outside the village. It hides dark secrets and an even darker past. This was the ancestral home of the Riddle family, but now it’s looked after by a caretaker and is used by dark wizards for mysterious purposes.

Quidditch World Cup Stadium
This impressive stadium was built for the Quidditch World Cup and holds up to 100,000 wizarding spectators! This is where the Irish Quidditch team defeated the Bulgarian team in the 1994 Quidditch World Cup Final.

Gryffindor Common Room
Cosy, comfortable, draped in scarlet and gold banners, and always warmed by a big fire, the common room is the place where Gryffindor students can mingle with their peers. This is also where celebrations take place when Gryffindor House accomplishes a great feat, such as a Quidditch win or a fulfilled Triwizard Tournament task.

The Dragon Pit
This is the location of the first task in the Triwizard Tournament. The huge pit holds large rock features and a dragon for each of the champions! Although chained, the dragons within are still dangerous as they can breathe fire or maim students. Some of them are even strong enough to snap their chains!

Yule Ball
Part of the Triwizard Tournament, this Christmas celebration is held in the Great Hall at Hogwarts. For the event, students may invite a date, must wear dress robes, and learn how to dance properly, lest they embarrass their house or school.

Perfects' Bathroom
Located on the fifth floor of the castle, this magnificent bathroom can only be accessed by password and used by the Head Boy and Girl, house Prefects, and Quidditch captains. The bath resembles a pool in size and has many taps spewing colourful and fragranced water.

Library
Hogwarts has a huge library filled with hundreds of shelves, holding thousands of books. Unlike other libraries, the one at Hogwarts holds books that glide through the air, scream in your face, or try to bite you if handled improperly. In search of knowledge or entertainment, students are welcome as long as they observe the many rules that govern the place.

The Black Lake
This icy-cold lake located close to Hogwarts is known for its merpeople and Grindylow population, as well as a giant squid! Many notable events happen on it or in its vicinity; the one occurring every year is the first-years’ boat journey to the school.

Triwizard Maze
This impressive maze is not a permanent fixture at Hogwarts. Instead, it was purposefully grown for the final task of the Triwizard Tournament and filled with all sorts of obstacles. The hedges were planted on the Quidditch Pitch, with assurance that the pitch would be returned to the former state promptly after the task.

Little Hangleton Graveyard
Located on a steep hill close to Little Hangleton, this graveyard is where the Riddle family tomb can be found. Usually quiet, this place becomes the stage for a terrible ritual and a deadly battle.
