Derry 1988
Georgie follows the carefully folded and waxed paper boat made by his brother down the safe streets of Derry. When the boat is swept down a drain, the little boy looks down and sees an eerie white-painted face. The clown, calling himself Pennywise, offers him the toy back, but when Georgie leans down, a tooth-filled maw tears off his arm and drags him into the sewer.

The Butcher Shop
Mike comes down to Derry only for business. He doesn’t have friends here and, like his grandfather always reminds him, he doesn’t belong with the other kids. On one trip in the town, Mike sees something more frightening than the bully he always has to be mindful of: a living nightmare! Scorched fingers grab on the butcher’s shop door, trying to escape a fire that burns still in Mike’s mind.

History of Derry
As Ben tells his new friends, Derry is a strangely hostile place, especially for children. The town’s beginning is shrouded in tragedy, as all the ninety-one signatories of the first charter went missing. Now, the rate of disappearances is six times the national average, and tragedies such as the Ester Explosion in 1906 happen every twenty-seven years.

While at home, Bill sees Georgie, who has gone missing since taking his little boat out to play. Bill’s happiest moment turns into his worst nightmare as his little brother turns into a rotten monster that beckons him to come and float with him and Pennywise.

Rock War
Mike joins the Losers Club when the other kids save him from Henry Bowers and his gang. The bullies have long tormented them, but when all the Losers band together, they manage to defeat the Bowers’ gang in a rock war - at least for now.
